Looking For Kathy Ver Eecke?

That's me!

If you’ve landed here, you’re probably looking for one of my websites, or courses, or consulting portals for startups, entrepreneurs, or online marketers. Well friend, I’ve got bad news. After decades of helping launch businesses and brands around the globe, I’ve exchanged my startup tool belt for a writer’s pen.

These days you’ll find me helping writers navigate the traditional book world. Now, I teach writers how to treat their book like a product, and how to position and pitch it in a way that makes it irresistible to the publishing industry. (Not that different from my startup days.)

If you need help on your path to a book deal, meet me over at GetaBookDeal101. My Path to Published course, that walks you step-by-step through the process, or my Pitch to Published private writers’ group where top literary agents and acquisitions editors directly mentor my writers, might be for you.

Just a few writers I've loved working with:

I'd been pitching my new book for years, with no success. With Kathy's help, I got an agent and my first book deal and hit the Amazon New Release Bestseller list.

Craig Fear: New England Soups (Countryman Press, 2022)

I don't think I'd be a published author had I not found Kathy. I can't count how many times I've thanked the universe for connecting me.

Morris Ardoin: Stone Motel, Memoir of a Cajun Boy (University Press of Mississippi, 2020)

Kathy’s someone who knows her way around the publishing industry. Her advice was priceless. With her help, I signed with a top agent and began working with a brilliant editor. None of this would have happened without her very generous input. This girl knows what she's doing.

Cheryl Ladd: Actress, Singer, Author

Patricia Crawford

I just signed with a west coast agent for my screenplay and novel. Kathy paved the path for me.

Julie Hoag

I just signed my second book deal and an audio deal on my debut novel. All because of what I learned from Kathy.

Maria Herring

After two years of pitching, I signed with an agent two months after working with Kathy.

There’s loads of free advice online, but much of it is outdated. Kathy cuts through it and shows how to get noticed. I've used the knowledge I gained at every step in the publishing process, and I'm eternally grateful.

Amber Camp: Canter With a Killer (Crooked Lane Books, 2022)

Kathy has a way of cutting through to the heart of problems and her advice always makes good sense and is backed up with a wealth of info. I landed a kick-a$$ agent after sending only seven queries. Not bad!

Matthew Harffy: The Bernicia Chronicles (Head of Zeus, 2018-2023)

I just signed my contract! I’m on my way to getting published. This wouldn’t have happened without Kathy and her course. She took the complicated and made it easy for me to understand and to execute. I’m so thrilled, so excited and
so grateful.

Brenda Cooper: Silhouette Solution: Using What You Have to Get the Look You Want (Penguin Random House, 2022)

When Kathy promises to help writers learn vital publication skills they’ll use throughout their writing career, she delivers. She and her P2P team were crucial to my success in signing with an agent, landing a book deal, and establishing a career as a fiction author. Thanks to you and P2P! I truly don’t think I’d be where I am without you and the group.

Nancy Taber: Born an Islander (Acorn Press, 2023)

The query letter is the gatekeeper. Obviously, you need a great book and writing skills, but the query is how it starts, and Kathy’s system got me there. Tess told me my query was the best query she’d read in a long time, so clearly it worked.

Deidra Ann Duncan: now repped by agent Tess Callero (Europa Content)

There’s no doubt in my mind that Kathy Ver Eecke is the reason I’m published. She’s knowledgeable, approachable, transparent, and a true friend to writers without compare. I owe her a great deal.”

Swearingen Durham: The Blackstone Ritual (Literary Wanderlust, 2020)

Thank you for the 5-Day Challenge and Path to Published course.
If I hadn't gotten involved in everything you offer, I wouldn't
have my book deal!

Bitty Martin: Snakes Eyes - Murder in a Southern Town (Prometheus, 2022)

Patricia beadle

Kathy's recipe for success helped me peek behind the veil of the publishing world and secure my agent. Anyone seeking an agent, looking for publication, or simply wanting to be a part of a talented writing collective, should join Kathy and Pitched to Published.

Chrissy Scivicque

One agent even commented specifically on my comprehensive, professional proposal and wanted to know how I'd learned how to do it. I told her my secret weapon was Kathy Ver Eecke.

Rachel Schmoyer

Before I met Kathy, I felt overwhelmed by the process. Not only did I learn how to craft an effective query letter, Kathy gave me the confidence I needed to get it out there. And I did it! I just signed with an agent who is a perfect fit for me! Thank you, Kathy.

After sending queries and pitching agents at conferences, I felt like I was playing a high-stakes game with secret rules — and losing. I was even beginning to doubt my writing chops until I luckily stumbled upon Kathy. Her clear-eyed guidance, the expertise of the agents and editors who she attracts as guests on her live calls, and the support of the P2P community were true game changers. I’ve now signed with an agent who truly “gets” me — and I wouldn’t dream of entering the query trenches again without Kathy Ver Eecke in my corner.

Jan Flynn: repped by Helen Adams (Zimmermann Literary Agency)

I found my champion! I signed with Alice Martell of The Martell Agency today. Deep gratitude to Kathy and the P2P dream team for your advice and support. Thank you for providing a space for people like me to learn. Pitch to Published is gold.
